Am I In The Picture (live music with Moths & Locusts, video by Paul Manly)
Inspired by the critical acclaimed work of American photography Francesca Woodman, whose use of nudity was an enigmatic confession of vulnerability and who made an uncanny language to unknot the ways in which we are encouraged to gaze at the female body. She studied her own body and created the prospect of determined feminine identities in a provocative, radical, poetic, and ironic manner. She died tragically at the age of 22 due to a broken heart.
Vâtchik Danse collective (Nasim Lootij - Kiasa Nazeran, Iran/Montreal)
A stark and stunning solo, Me-Moi-Man is a ireflection on deeply personal encounters from the Iranian revolution and Iran-Iraq war.
